• What is a LeaderboardLe?

  LeaderboardLe allows you to track all your -le game scores in one place and compete in leagues with friends and family.

• What is a league?

  A league is a friendly competition to compare -le game scores between a group of up to 50 people. This can be for just one -le game (for example, a pure nerdle league) or it can include multiple leagues (so you could earn points from nerdle, wordle and taylordle - for example).

  Anyone can create a league and it’s easy to join someone’s league once they share their league code with you.

• How do I create a league?

  First register for LeaderboardLe at . Then go to “my leagues” and click ‘create’. Once your league has been created, you will be given a code to share with your friends.

  You can create multiple leagues for different groups of friends or different games.

• How do I share a league?

  Every league has its own league code. Just share this code with your friends and ask them to join the league at leaderboardle.com.

  You will be given your league code when you create a league. You can also find the league code by going to the ‘my leagues’ page and selecting the league you want to share.

• How do I join a league?

  You can join a league if someone shares their league code with you.

  First register for LeaderboardLe at leaderboardle.com. Then go to “my leagues” and click ‘join league’. Enter the league code you have been given and you will now be part of that league.

  You can join multiple leagues with different groups of friends or different games.

• Which games are valid in Leaderboardle?

  Currently LeaderboardLe supports the following games:

  ● nerdle,

  ● mini nerdle,

  ● mini binerdle,
  ● quordle,
  ● dordle,
  ● worldle,
  ● word hurdle,
  ● phrazle

  We plan to add more games in the future. Keep an eye out for updates.

• How is each game scored?

  In LeadboardLe, you get more points for using fewer guesses when you solve your -le game. You only receive points if you fully complete a game.

  Standard games (games with one answer upto 6 attempts) Eg wordle, classic nerdle, worldle, heardle, phrazle, word hurdle etc.

  Scoring system: One point for the right answer and another point for every unused guess..

  For example:

  ● Nerdle completed in 6 with no remaining guesses: 1 point
  ● Nerdle completed in 4 with 2 remaining guesses: 3 points
  

  Multi-games (games with two or more challenges solved at once) Eg quordle, binerdle, dordle etc.

  Scoring system: One point for solving ALL the challenges and another point for every unused guess.

  ● Octordle gives you a score between 36 and 182, we translate this into points - the lower the better. 0-36=6, 37-44=5, 45-52=4, 53-60=3, 61-68=2, 69-76=1, over 76=0. If the emojis representing the number of guesses for each answer include a number over 13 you will receive 0 points.

  ● Instant nerdle and speed nerdle will both give you a time in minutes and seconds which is translated into points - 6 points for under one minute, 5 for under 2 minutes and so on. No points are given for times over 6 minutes. The number of guesses in speed nerdle is not taken into account, although it can incur a time penalty within the game.

  ● In games with 2 daily challenges (such as word hurdle and phrazle), either daily answer is valid, but only one will be counted each day, if you do both the second one inputted will be counted as a repeat.

• How do I input my scores?

  For all Nerdle games the quickest way to share your scores is to connect your LeaderboardLe account to Nerdle. You'll see an option to log in to LeaderboardLe when you win if you're not already connected. Scores will be shared automatically thereafter.

  For other games the easiest way to share is by using the LeaderboardLe mobile app.

  Otherwise, from your desktop - or if you don't have the app installed, press “share” when you have completed a game and copy the share text to your clipboard, then press the + button in the bottom right hand corner of LeaderboardLe and paste the text.

• Are all games equally weighted?

  The maximum number of points you can achieve for any game (including multiple answer games) is 6.

  However, a league can be created to count 5, 6 or 7 plays a week per game. So, depending on your league, not all games count and you won’t necessarily be penalised for missing one or two.

• What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password?

  If you have forgotten your password, simply select the “forgot password” button on the sign in page and follow the instructions.

• Can I input scores from previous days?

  If you forget to save your scores on LeaderboardLe, you can still add them later. However, you will need your share text. If you have shared it with your friends somewhere else, that’s great. But if you haven’t saved it somewhere, unfortunately we can’t retrieve it for you.

• How can I close and delete my LeaderboardLe account?

  We're sorry to see you go but if you no longer need your LeaderboardLe account you can delete it by going to your profile in the app. Hit the menu button, then Profile and then you will see "Delete this account". Be aware that all your data will be deleted.
